This step is optional, Halia works on its own. But if you connect the email or CRM tool you already use, each customer's grade shows up right there, so your VICs are easy to find and email. And Halia never emails your customers itself; you always choose what to send.
Connecting a tool lets Halia write each customer's grade into it, using a key you provide. You stay in control, and the same promise holds: Halia never keeps a copy of your customers.
Connect as many as you like from your dashboard settings, or skip this and work straight from the Halia dashboard. Pick a tool below.
Halia adds each customer's grade to their Klaviyo profile, and can build a list of any group you pick, ready to email or start a flow.
In Klaviyo, go to Settings → API keys and create a private key.
In your Halia dashboard, open Integrations → Klaviyo and paste the key.
Each customer now carries a Halia grade in Klaviyo, and you can build a list from any selection.
Halia labels your existing contacts with their grade, so you can filter for your VICs and email them.
In Mailchimp, go to Account → Extras → API keys and create one.
Paste the key into Integrations → Mailchimp in Halia, and choose which audience to enrich.
Contacts get a grade tag like Halia A* you can filter and send to.
Halia adds a grade and score to your HubSpot contacts, and can build a list of a group you choose.
In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Private Apps and create one called “Halia”.
Give the app permission to read and update contacts, then copy the token it shows you.
Open Integrations → HubSpot in Halia and paste the token. Each contact now shows its Halia grade.
Get a message in Slack the instant a VIC places an order, so your team can send a thank-you while it still feels personal.
In Slack, add the Incoming Webhooks app and choose a channel (for example #vic-alerts).
Copy the link Slack gives you into Integrations → Slack.
Halia posts the customer, their grade, and why, the moment they order.
Halia writes its intelligence onto your customers as tags, and Shopify Flow turns those tags into any automation you like. Switch on Keep tags in sync automatically in Integrations and the tags move with every scan.
The tag vocabulary: Halia:A* and Halia:A mark your strongest grades;
Halia:GoneQuiet appears when a proven client's orders stop and clears when they
return; Halia:Fresh marks a newly active hidden VIC.
Flow trigger Customer tag added, condition tag equals Halia:A*, action: internal email to your clienteling lead.
Trigger Customer tag added, tag equals Halia:GoneQuiet, action: create a task to reach out with a personal note.
Trigger Order created, condition customer tags include Halia:A*, action: notify the associate on shift so the parcel leaves with a handwritten card.
Create a customer segment where customer_tags CONTAINS 'Halia:A*' and target it in Shopify Email. Flow is optional for this one.
Turn your hidden VICs into an ad audience. In the Clients view, Meta audience builds a Meta-ready file: choose everyone in the current view, all hidden VICs, or Gone quiet, and narrow to a single signal if you like. Emails are hashed with SHA-256 in your browser and downloaded; nothing is sent to Halia.
Upload the file in Meta Ads Manager (Audiences → Create a Custom Audience → Customer list), then build a Lookalike from it. Because Halia ranks capacity, this finds people who look wealthy the way your VICs do, not just people who spend.
Run a considered, higher-budget campaign to the VICs themselves.
Add the audience as an exclusion so your broad discount ads skip the clients who deserve a personal call instead.
You remain the data controller: make sure you have a lawful basis to advertise to these clients before uploading.
When Halia spots a VIC, it can draft a warm message for you, from a few ready-made templates or a personal note.
You read it over and hit send, from your own inbox, from WhatsApp, or from your email tool. Halia never sends for you, you're always the one who chooses. See Using Halia for how outreach works day to day.
